What is NDIS Short-Term Accommodation?
Short-term Accommodation (STA) is NDIS-funded support that provides participants with a valuable opportunity for temporary, specialised places to stay, away from their usual residence for a short time.
Respite and STA can be planned in advance, but, sometimes a caregiver is unwell and needs a break. Or, sometimes a crisis happens.
The duration of STA varies for each participant. This allows for funding flexibly. And, if you might want to use the funding in a block for a week, two weeks, or even a month, Retreat South will strive to provide an engaging, satisfying, and beneficial program to satisfy your needs for that time.
STA funding can be used for respite to support participants and carers for some time out. In addition, respites like Retreat South offer one-on-one, engaging activities tailored to our participant’s interests and needs.
We also offer personally catered meals and dietary support.
And Retreat South is pet-friendly and your pet is welcome.
More information about short-term accomodation can be found on our website and you can call seven days a week to speak with us about your plans.
