Retreat South would like to welcome as many people as possible to our retreat and respect everyone’s right to enjoyable, relaxing and restorative experiences.
However, we also need to ensure that all clients have an enjoyable and safe respite, by insuring that we provide the right support to the right people. As a result we are currently unable to accommodate people with severe intellectual disabilities with challenging, violent or aggressive behaviours.
We do support guests who need assistance with personal activities, but we will need to assess this on a case by case basis. In addition, Retreat South is unable to accommodate participants with high physical support needs. Our suites and property are suitable for guests who do not require disabled access, as we do not have disability hoists.
